Congratulations to our All Stars.
Congratulations on being named a p1440 2021 All Star. We're inspired by your competitive spirt, and we love the way your LOVE of the game shines through. These selections were based on the collective consensus of p1440 affiliate directors and coaches.
Eligibility requirements:
2021 p1440 First Team All Star
Maggie Boyd
Flower Mound, Texas
Madsand | UCLA
Maggie’s ability to execute a game plan and win is unparalleled. She’s very mindful of the opponent’s tendencies and has the consistency to force players out of their comfort zone between her defence and jump serve.
It’s going to be fun to watch this stud compete at UCLA.
Gabrielle Walker
Flower Mound, Texas
Madsand | USC
Gabby is a fiery and resilient baller. She started working on her hybrid serve about a month before nationals. Gabby stuck with it all through nationals, absolutely tearing high level teams apart with it.
She was already a phenomenal player before, but her willingness to make changes will take her far at USC.
Jaci Carpenter
Dublin, Ohio
Ohio Valley Beach/Next Level | FGCU
At 6 feet tall and stone strong broad shoulders Jaci Carpenter is one of the most physical players in the juniors world in 2021.
Jaci’s cool composure and strength at the net offensively and as a blocker give her the ability to terminate and turn points in bunches.
Lauren Wilcock
Mendham, New Jersey
Sinjin Beach | University of South Carolina
Lauren is the picture of consistency in the sand. She can execute every skill at a high level and has one of the highest beach IQ’s in the juniors world.
Pair these intangibles with the desire and athleticism to win, and you have a threat in any tournament... enter Lauren Wilcock!
Chase Teal
Creedmor, North Carolina
Sinjin Beach | University of South Carolina
Chase Teal is one of the most exciting athletes on the beach to watch. With her big vertical, cat-like speed, desire to play with power and a fun loving personality, she is a highlight reel every game and hard to take your eyes off of.
Anna Long
Lakeside Park, Kentucky
Ohio Valley Beach/Next Level | Florida State
Anna is one of the most - if not THE most - athletically gifted young ladies in the 2021 class. At six feet tall with long arms and a 10’3 jump touch, her ceiling is higher than most.
When this player controlled the pass, she was almost unstoppable at the juniors level this year.
Alexis Durish
San Antonio, Texas
210 Beach | Florida State University
Alexis is quite simply a stud of a player! Her all around game really has no weaknesses. It has been years since I have seen this player get served and lose a game...
Challenge Made!
Hailey Hamlett
Bulverde, Texas
210 Beach | Texas Christian University
Hailey has been so good for so long, and she has won so much that it seems like she has been a junior forever. Hailey plays a mature seasoned game and has the stature and athleticism to worry any and all opponents.
She is always a front runner in any event.
2021 p1440 Second Team All Star
Kylie Wickley
San Antonio | Texas
210 Beach | ASU
Kylie’s game screams power!
This player quite simply has a gun for a shoulder and when she is in rhythm, she pairs that power with a really clean shot game and is tough to score on. Add her strong ball control and setting skills and you have a contender.
Mabyn Thomas
Southlake, Texas
Madsand | USC
Mabyn is an elite athlete with a whip of a left handed arm swing. Being a lefty, Mabyn presents a problem for most defenders then add to that a really fast wristy arm swing and any defense has its hands full.
Mabyn will be a highly sought after junior partner in 2022.
Emma Morris
Haymarket, Virgina
Sinjin Beach | Stanford University
Emma has an intimidating physique to say the least! This young lady at 6 foot plus is as fit as they come with a strong vertical jump to boot.
When this girl is in system, she simply is most often too athletic for junior volleyball players to handle.
Jazmine Haas
Cincinnati, Ohio
Ohio Valley Beach/Next Level | UAB
Jazmine, a former gymnast is the most explosive athlete on the beach. At a jacked 5’4”, Jaz forces her opponents to strategically play her like she were a 6 footer at the net. Her first step defensively is remarkable, and you simply never say the ball is out of reach with her on the court.
Klaire VanDeusen
St. Augustine, Florida
C3 | USC
Klaire is one of the most improved players on the beach this year. At 6’1, she has always been a strong offensive attacker and big blocker. In 2021, Klaire has become a great hand setter and her foot movement is now at the level of the rest of her game.
2022 will see Klaire dominate the net in the junior realm without a doubt.
Cassidy Chambers
Windermere, Florida
Cape Coast Beach Volleyball | LSU
Cassidy Chambers has been a big time name in the juniors beach world forever. Cassidy has played 18u since she was at least 15 and contended to win 18u divisions ever since.
The juniors field will be very happy and have a sigh of relief not to see her name on the entry board any longer in 2022.
Parker Bracken
Ridgeland, Mississippi
DIGS Beach | LSU
Parker is a physical specimen that has high level beach skills to match. Because of her great athleticism, Parker has had to be a net player for much of her juniors career.
On the next level, Parker as a defender could be scary for opponents given she sides out so well.
Ashley Vincent
Atlanta, Georgia
S3 | Stanford
Ashley is another player who has won for a long time in the juniors division. With her height and length, as well as her volleyball IQ, it is hard to stop her offensively.
She will be another one at the top of the partnering list for juniors in 2022.
