A little bit about Kelly
My name is Kelly McConekey. I am 17 years old and I live in Wilmington, North Carolina. I have a brother and a sister and 2 boxers.
My dogs' names are Charlie and Lola. I started playing volleyball when I was 9, but I committed to playing just beach when I was 16.

How would you change the world?
Through my example I would like to teach that attitude is more important than failures, successes, and circumstances. With a good attitude, you can overcome any challenges in life.
What’s your superpower?
If I could have any superpower, it would be to be able to move things with my mind.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
The best advice given to me is that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
How would you like to be remembered?
I would like to be remembered as a kind, loyal, dependable friend that you can lean on.
